Gary Eichenberger, PT, DPT

Gary began his physical therapy studies at Waldorf Community College, where he studied for two years while playing football. He then transferred to Iowa State University to complete his B.S. in Human Health and Performance, with a minor in Psychology. In 2010, Gary earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University, and has been a licensed physical therapist practicing in the Kansas City Metro area ever since.

The majority of Gary’s work experience has been in private outpatient therapy clinics, but he also has involvement with home health agencies and nursing homes. In addition to working in multiple health settings, Gary has worked with patients of all ages and with a wide range of injuries such as: general orthopedics, sport-specific rehabilitation/performance training, pre and post surgical conditions, neurological conditions, and many more.

Gary has a passion to guide and assist client pain relief, and strives for maximum functionality in everyday life. He places his patients at an optimal level of success; because he believes that treating individuals with a combination of hands on therapy, proper exercise, and education is the fastest way to recovery.
Gary was raised in Lakota, Iowa, a small town on the northern border of the state.

Liz Eichenberger

Liz graduated from Kansas City Community College as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant in 2011, and has been practicing in the Kansas City metro ever since.

Her work experience includes treating individuals in private outpatient PT clinics, home health agencies, and nursing homes. Therefore, she is has an understanding of all age groups, and experience with a wide range of everyday functionality. Her therapy involvement includes general orthopedic issues, sport-specific rehabilitation, pre/post surgical conditions, neurological conditions, vestibular rehabilitation, and much more.

Liz’s passion lies in helping patients return to the many aspects of their everyday life; whether that objective is working, parenting, or a specific activity, her priority is maximum comfort and functionality.

Liz was raised in Sedan, Kansas and grew up being involved in sports, FFA, 4H and many other activities.

Gary and Liz live in the Liberty area with their French Mastiff, Hazel Both enjoy being active in recreational leagues, traveling, attending Iowa State athletics, and spending time with their family and friends whenever possible.

I’m a 2021 PTA graduate from the Penn Valley PTA program. Physical therapy is a career change for me after having spent years in the social work and insurance fields. I love this career because I am able to see real progress and be a positive influence in patients’ lives.

I live in Smithville with my husband, Rob. We have two girls who are currently in college.

 

 

 

Jordan Throckmorton

Jordan was born and raised in Hiawatha, KS. Jordan attended Pittsburg State University and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2015. She continued her education at Southwest Baptist University and graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022. Jordan’s clinical experience includes general orthopedic, neurological rehabilitation, and inpatient acute care. Jordan and her husband, Austin, live in the Liberty area with their mini Aussie, Truman. In her free time she enjoys running, fishing, camping, traveling, watching Chiefs football, and playing card/board games with friends and family.

 

 

Ben Boechlen

Ben is originally from New Mexico. Growing up in Las Cruces and attending undergrad at New Mexico State University. He first moved to Missouri in 2016 to attend PT school at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he met his future wife. They graduated from Mizzou in May 2019, and moved to Kansas City. Ben has been a physical therapist with complete PT since January 2023, and working in

outpatient orthopedics since graduating from Mizzou. His hobbies include skiing, playing with his border collie/cocker spaniel mix Meelo, and watching soccer and football.

 

 

Mackenzie Mathern Collett

Mackenzie graduated from Metropolitans Health and Science Institute in December 2020 and has been a licensed therapist since 2021. Mackenzie is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. With a background in home health care and therapy, Mackenzie brings a blend of knowledge, compassion, and hands-on experience to every patient interaction. She is our go-to ‘Question of the day’ girl and loves to get the clinic thinking with fun and upbeat questions to keep patients and our clinicians engaged while participating in skilled treatments. With a genuine passion for helping others and a drive to make a positive impact, Mackenzie strives to empower patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain independence in their daily lives.
Outside of Mackenzie’s professional work, she enjoys spending time with her husband Michael and dog Norman. In her free time, she likes to stay active and go on walks, loves to spend time with her family and friends, and enjoys venturing out to different restaurant spots around the metro area.

Michael Young, DPT, is a compassionate physical therapist who loves working with runners and athletes of all ages and goals.

Originally from Saint Louis, Michael earned his doctorate in physical therapy from Rockhurst University in 2023, where he also obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification.
